local-timezone always return GMT on OS X

Takashi Kato repo owner created an issue

/etc/localtime is the symbolic link of other timezone however OS X returns GMT calling (local-timezone)

    It seems problem of readlink(2) on OS X. The man page says it returns number of placed characters (count) however in reality it returns count+1.
