Color Elements

A Color Element is a type of Element in a Layout that displays a solid color. To create a Color Element, click the Add Element button in the Layout View and select "Color"

In addition to the standard Element properties, Color Elements have several properties specific for images.

If the Element is not bound to a Field, then you can select a color through the color picker.

You can select one of the standard colors, or click the Advanced button for better granularity.

The default value is magenta at about 40% opacity. This makes it easy to tell the region of Element and still see its position against other Elements beneath it.
