This is the Wiki page of the examTool. The examTool is a small tool I wrote to speed up exam correction.

Use Case:

The use case this tool was developed for is that exams of the scale of 500+ need to be corrected and evaluated quickly. A force of assisting staff can each has a version of examTool running with the scanned in exams loaded up. Each assistant then can digitally annotate the scanned exams with color markers to denote if an answer is correct/false/other. Once all exams are corrected in this way, we can analyze the answers to say which questions were ambiguous/hard/easy etc and adjust the awarded points accordingly. The tool exports this question statistic as a CSV file that can be processes with any spreadsheet application.
