Giving other players items with /give can create unpickupable items.
Giving other players items with /give can create unpickupable items because only the player given the items can pick them up. So if someone had no space it drops the item in front of them and only they can pick it up, if they don't pick it up it will be there until it despawns and no one else can pick it up. This also might happen with hourly gifts.

switching player gifts to remotecommand /i, should resolve
#139→ <<cset f551d374442b>>

BTW this should still be reported to the canary tracker.

Reopening because of the hourly gift still makes items that only the player given the item can pick up.

reporter Also reported to canary issue tracker here: https://github.com/CanaryModTeam/CanaryMod/issues/144

reporter Does /item do the same thing as it is a alias for the same command now?

Don't reopen an obviously resolved issue with a new unrelated issue. If you want to create an issue for the hourly gift, do so. But i'll still tell you to go report it on the canary tracker.

reporter As I said, I already reported it there. And it is intentional behavior of the command. Also happens with /kit.

Yes, canary say it is intended behaviour. So why did you open this as an issue with us when it's clearly not a bug?

This is nothing to do with scripts, give is canary. However, because we use it in hourly gifts i'm leaving this issue open pending switching to canary's /item.
