Error when /rendering in /rules.

When using the /render command in /rules (also nearby the world border). It comes up with these messages:

rsync: link_stat "/home/minecraft/freedonia/region/r.22.-14.mca" failed: No such file or directory (2)

rsync: link_stat "/home/minecraft/freedonia/region/r.22.-13.mca" failed: No such file or directory (2)

rysync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous erros) (code 23) at main.c(1183) [sender=3.11]

Only sends this error message when in the area nearby /rules. Happens with other players too (tested with Zen_Fighter around Wed 20 May 04:59:59 BST 2015).

I presume this would be the rendering program searching for chunks that do not exist, as they are off the edge of the map?

Regions/chunks that have never been created due to the world border? Could be. Should have tested in other spots on the world border too.
