This may be a duplicate, but ideally there should be 3 independent options: case free/sensitive, word by word/letter by letter (I will provide sample data), a tergo/a fronte.

Implements letter by letter sorting. Closes ~~#158~~. Alas, portable case-sensitive comparison is not available, so I only implemented letter-by-letter.
