IDML Filter exports source segment texts instead of translated segments

Issue #296 on hold
Former user created an issue

Original issue 296 created by eddykay... on 2012-12-05T14:25:24.000Z:

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.Use the attached batch configurations to import/ export the attached testcases

2.Install and execute import.bconf and execute the pipeline with the attached testcase01.idml/testcase02.idml file. Use ONTRAM XINI as translation package.

  1. There are some english texts in the exported xini. Change the content so that you can distinguish it from the source text.

  2. Install export.bconf and process the created manifest file from step 2.

  3. Open the idml output file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The changed translation doesn't appear in the output, the source segment text is displayed instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Okapi M18 ,Windows 7, Java 1.6.29

Please provide any additional information below.

The IDML filter exports source segment texts instead of target language texts in this case. I attached two different testcases where you can reproduce the behaviour.

    This sounds related to XINI.

I don't think this issue was resolved yet.

I'm going through old IDML tickets, and wanted to confirm that these pipelines are using XINI (OntramPackageWriter, etc). I don't think this is an IDML filter issue.
