Registration - 2.1 clarification needed for optional parameters during client_update operation

The spec is unclear of what to do with optional parameter values during a client_update operation.

If the client does not send them, do the previous values for the optional parameters get erased on the Server side or are do they remain unchanged.

Good question, I vote for the operation to be atomic, what you write is what you get with no holdover from previous settings. Otherwise we need a way to inspect the settings.
