  • Regrets:

3.   New Co-chair (Nat)

  • Dave Tonge is now a co-chair. There was not objection: i.e., the WG approved his co-chairship unanimously.
  • Welcome -> Dave

4.   Implementer's Draft

  • Review Results are to come in.
  • Open Banking

5.   External Organizations

5.1.   OpenBanking (Joseph/Dave)

  • Joseph brought up some legal issues:
  • OB directory needs to support it for on-boarding, but it does not mean that software statement cannot be used. Software statement will be able to provide more info to the end users so will result in a better UI.
  • OB Conformance test suite for the functional test suite. Banks have to apply by March 2019 for the exemption.

5.2.   ISO/TC68/SC 9 (Dave)

  • Released the first draft. Not much is changed. Part 1 and 2 are in there.
  • Some discussions to make it referencing our spec rather than including text is going on.

5.3.   Other EU SDOs (Dave)

  • STET, Berlin Group, OB Joint Workshop towards the beginning of July.
  • It is a closed meeting.
  • Dave is creating a diff between BG spec and our Part 1. He expects that the delta is small so hopefully we can convince BG to use FAPI instead of their own.

6.   Events (Nat)

6.1.   Identiverse (Don)

Room: 309 9:30am - 9:55am Open Banking: The First Step of the Open Revolution?

10:05am - 11:05am Panel: The Business of Open Banking

Nat, Ralph, Joseph, Brian, Don is going to be at Identiverse.

8.   Issues

All the issues regarding Part 1 and Part 2 were covered. Several more pull requests are coming in but with it, the specs should be ready for another Implementer's draft vote.

9.   AOB

  • OB's view on Decoupled: CIBA or anything else?
    • The first meeting is tomorrow.
    • Multi-party consent. Reluctance to support Refresh Token. CIBA is a strong contender for it.

9.1.   Next Call

The next call is scheduled to be in the Pacific time zone.

  • The meeting was adjourned at 15:01 UTC.
