Extended Alert System
The current setup of OpenREM allows notifying a user via E-Mail of high dose alerts limited to the fluoroscopy modality.
Since notifications over E-Mail are not always the best option, I propose that we display all alerts on a separate page in the front-end of OpenREM (if needed, with a filtering functionality).
Additionally, the following changes are planned:
-
For a study, compare the actual value (DLP or DAP) against the reference value defined in the standard name and issue an alert, if the actual value surpasses the reference value by a factor defined in the standard name
-
For each patient, sum up the effective dose over all studies over a globally defined period and issue an alert if the calculated value is greater than a globally defined reference value (unit: [Sv])
There must also be a mechanism to avoid counting a study more than once (e.g. if it belongs to several standard names). This can be achieved, for example, by taking only the largest calculated effective dose.
