Issue #13 closed
Andreas Zautner created an issue

Hi,

when I try to start Phyloviz on my new installed Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, I get the following error:

andreas@LinuxU38N:~/Programme/phyloviz/bin$ ./phyloviz WARNING: An illegal reflective access operation has occurred WARNING: Illegal reflective access by org.netbeans.ProxyURLStreamHandlerFactory (file:/home/andreas/Programme/phyloviz/platform/lib/boot.jar) to field java.net.URL.handler WARNING: Please consider reporting this to the maintainers of org.netbeans.ProxyURLStreamHandlerFactory WARNING: Use --illegal-access=warn to enable warnings of further illegal reflective access operations WARNING: All illegal access operations will be denied in a future release

I hope you can fix this bug. If you need additional files just post it in response to this post!

Best Wishes Andreas

Hi, the same happened to me, I couldn’t install a previous version of Java. Any idea?

    Thanks.

Sorry for the delay on this, we missed this issue. The version 2.0a should run fine with last java versions.
