There is no fulltext search

Our APIs do not provide fulltext search against the project's titles, abstracts or content of publications.

The rationale is that fulltext search is very dependent on client needs, and usually one central index cannot fit all needs. When you tune a search engine, you may have to configure specific lexers, stemming, country- or domain-specific thesauri for semantic search, and finally define the weighting between text and metadata used for ranking results. All of these make one central system unfit to satisfy different users.
