Could running tests on Save not show the compiler dialog, like when tests are run on idle?

When tests are run on idle, no Compile dialog is shown - you just see compiler messages in the output.

However, when tests are run on save, the dialog is shown.

Is it possible to run tests using the same compile mechanism is running on idle, please? The reason is I am using Ctrl-S as a shortcut to 'run tests now' after editing one or more, and the dialog is a slight distraction. Running on idle is nice because it's all inline, nothing popping up, but of course they run at their own time rather than when I specifically want to invoke them.
