Unable to log work on dashboard - confirmed checkbox is empty on config page

Hello JIRAtimesheets team and/or Andriy,
My team is unable to edit work logs using the dashboard. I confirmed several times that the box is unchecked and reviewed the documentation. Hopefully this isn't a bug and I am missing another setting.

Hello Andriy, I updated the permissions to allow editing worklogs and noticed a difference in the dashboard gadget but not a complete return to its previous functionality.
Once I provided access to edit worklogs within the projects a red X appeared next to the entry that allows the user and/or supervisor to delete the entry but we still do not have the previous BLUE time values that allow you to edit the entry quickly and easily via the gadget.
I will be reviewing our log but any further guidance and assistance you can provide would be appreciated.

Yes, I can edit others worklogs and so can other users of the gadget.

I updated my test instance to v3.1.6. The issue is not fixed.

Hi David,
Looks like in your case Jira issue is not editable or logging work is disabled or not allowed for you, because there is no delete icon either, but it used to be there even with the bug, as you might see in description.

Hi Keiht,
Could you please make sure you have Edit Others Worklog permission?
Alternatively you may check if you can edit worklogs in Issue Worklog tab. If it works there please check JIRA Server atlassian-jira.log for any related errors.
