Project Pivot report Excel export shows incorrect characters in column Comment

When characters with diacritics are in comment of worklog, there is some strange string instead of them when I do export to Excel. Is it some problem with encoding? But characters in column Title are ok even with diacritics.

Hi Jakub,

Hm, it can not be ok now, fix is not released yet, it will be in next 2.4.4 version.

While investigating the problem, I've noticed that some characters cause the problem, e.g. this is what I've seen in exported html source: <td align="center" width=1%>Ať už se na to díváme jakkoliv

You see, some characters are html entities, and apparently not all excel clients can interpret them. So I've made exported html not to escape this "high" characters.

But it's strange it works for you now. Have you changed excel client? Or is different comment?

I downloaded zip archiv with changed files and replace them in plugin jar file and reinstall plugin in JIRA. I didn't know it wil be in next version I thought this fix is useful just for me not for everone.

Oh, I see, thank you for clarifying. And I think fix may be useful for others. But you may clarify which excel client do you use?

I use MS Excel 2010 (MS Office Standard 2010), 64-bit version.
