How to work Sync field

What is the use of Sync field?,can you provide the clear document. How will be work? see my attachment how will be work on my situation,can you explain? we are planing to upgrade 7.1 to 7.11 we have licences once upgrade to 7.11 we need to pay any amount?

    Sync Field plugin allows you to synchronize fields between problems.

    For your case(from screenshot):

    If anybody change issue(or add comment) and this issue has issuetype equals from «Issue types» field from config then fields «Target release» and «Comment» will be copied to linked issue with link type «Help Desk: support issue contains» or «Help Desk: relates to support issue»
