Method "subList" creates a new List

All Lists create a new List in the subList-method and fill it with the given range [from, to] instead of giving a "view" which is backed by the original.

I'd need to check the code to confirm that this is what happens, but I'll assume that it is the case. However, whilst this is not in line with the behaviour in the collections API, this is not so errant as to be unmanageable. Therefore I'm downgrading the priority.

I'll try and fix it in the next release though.
