Error importing push certificate

In MDM > Configure Push Certificate if a user clicks on Import Push Certificate and uses a push certificate that was previously signed, an error message is shown stating:

Error converting key: There was an error removing the passphrase from the private key. Please check the password and try again.

This is resolved if the user clicks on Save Request and saves a new request file, then discards it and tries Import again using the original signed certificate.
