NPE when attempting to use Merge option under Workflow

I have rechecked with Atlassian JIRA (v5.0#713-sha1:aec58e2) and was not able to reproduce NPE. Is it possible to provide the exported jira xml? Or we can iterate over the configuration steps. Actually in the stack trace the issue merger for jira plugin is not involved as i have seen.

I actually can't seem to reproduce this now. I tried again a bit ago, and it seems to show the "Merge Issue Screen" that I created perfectly fine now. The issue I am having now though, is https://bitbucket.org/verhasi/issue-merger-for-jira/issue/4/custom-field-not-found. My custom field is the same as what the example says, "Merge into issue", but it fails to find it saying, "Custom field 'Merge into issue' not found"
