just seen that we have the duplicated ? also in 1.4.1

dependent if we find that we have an issue with that there we may be want to backport the 1.5 fix for this.

The 1.4.1 has two separate ways of assembling the final URL, one that is used for caching files and one that is actually employed. While that is unfortunate, this is not easily remedied.
