default initialisation time

In the user interface one can set the initialisation time and the valid time (vertical and horizontal plots). The most logical thing is that one wants to work with the newest forecast. Therefore it would be appropriate, that the default init time would be the newest available.

Indeed, that was one of the first things that annoyed the hell out of me in the meetings. For WISE, there will be a couple of small, but very nice improvements, I promise, this being one of them.
