Metadata Series Identification

The naming scheme I use results in serviio being unable to correctly figure out series information.

An example path is: videos/American Dad/Series 3/303 - Dope and Faith.mp4

Will (http://forum.serviio.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=655) suggests that this is because serviio only looks at one parent folder, in the example above "Series 3"

It would be awesome if someone could fix this for the next release.

Hi, I see that has been fixed, but...

I have files like "The X Factor Uk - S09E03 - 720p HDTV x264 FTP.mkv", these fail to match at thetvdb.com because the series name is "The X Factor" (without the uk), I've asked them to add an alias to help me in this situation, but is it possible to add a "hook" script that I can code any special cases or to completely override the standard behaviour?
