Ready to edit a skin texture and wondering how I applied the same settings to face body arms etc

Seems like that would be an awesome feature if it's not implemented but if it is implemented and you could tell me about how to do it i'd appreciate it.. thanks in advance for any help… quick example I started changing the gamma and it made the skin look nice but it was only on the torso so it'd be nice if one slider or something could change the gamma on all the textures REportback here if I find something I'm usually pretty quick at this

Never mind sorry for the odd question I just realized I could select the faces for all the skin materials and assign them to the torso… So never mind unless you have a couple of words about it better system that you might have have no idea why they separate arms and legs oh yeah probably tattoos and stuff

    some Feature requestz….

auto saving preferences system when I open up the box and start trying to learn it and editing materials it's probably common for the end user to realize that he could angle his viewport better and have to close the box next time I have to enable all the materials

it'd be way more streamlined and awesome if the material edit was live I'm doing the material edits from my advanced local mode system so just the character the hdri and all the lights are available that's usually how I edit materials the sliders going fast but not having a live update is always kind of a hindrance because you just have to guess and hope and that takes a lot of time with a live update system you know I'm getting so good at blender sliders when they move fast because I do it from low from my advanced local mode with all objects disabled I could eyeball it and edit a material in like three seconds like any material so it'd be nice if this was really high performance as far as the ui it would probably get you way more congratulation from your end users... my next step of course is to just edit the face materials how I'd like them to be and then I guess every material I edit I have clipboard copy software so every material I edit i'll copy the value and then paste them in that's still way faster but live editing...

Or if you could let me know how you approach this if you have even a better way or a better outlook

I'm doing them now one at a time you know doing bump and bump distance hasting them in there and really happy with the results so if it's hard to do the live editing just making those preferences autosave for like fingernails and toenails and torso because I'm not going to do fingernails and toenails because I think those are probably different than the regular skin but keeping in mind you probably left those default because uh you're talking about the skin under the fingernails then in that case just a slightly refined tool tip would be cool

And there's no dual lobe fac… I got a nice look using that on the face I wanted to transfer it and that option wasn't there… I just understood how you did do it the face was the act of material I adjusted the ratio of the DUALLOBE to a 1.00 and I looked again in the material editor I'm so sorry about that i'm going to go to the documentation I should have hit that first…. but automatic live adjustment is where I leave off

and blender's default is using one less decimal point not sure if that was intentional but just thought you guys should know….for sss

And having the expand state of the panel stay where you left it because it's gonna people are gonna be going into this a lot of times

and I fine tuned the two specular materials on top coat and went into the material editor and they weren't available…. Then fine tuned the arms where I liked them to go and went into material editor said the active material was arms but the value wasn't populated

I'm sorry cancel that last one I just double checked it was

not sure if the multiply node could be an option but in my instance I made a good edit with that and that would have been cool

gamma also would be a nice addition I had a character with a kind of two veny of a skin tone and this fixed it completely

What do you think of my live update system where you can see the updates to the skin and everything live as you move the sliders… If you don't wanna do that uh I know a guy who's at your guys' 's level programming wise I could take some of the weight off of you and have him do it i'm sure you would concede with the code because you know he could just go in and reuse your functions your style of programming and then I could send it so either way if you're not going to implement it let me know and that'll be the absolute first thing I do…. And then we all get it if we knock these things out of the park you know step by step pretty soon you know I mean we'll have a tool where we don't just see these intermittent 3D animations on youtube we'll see them everywhere
