Categorize Objects

Sometimes an imported scene contains many object that are not parented to a common rig. This is especially common when we import environments. This tool creates new collections for each unparented object, and moves the object and its children to the new collection. This is useful e.g. because we can exclude collections that are not seen by the active camera, to speed up rendering.

Here we have imported a scene with three objects on the top level.

After categorizing the scene contains three separate collections.
