Laserite

Laserite is a key part to any laser. It is a gem which naturally gives off high levels of energy. This energy can be enhanced using redstone.

Creating Laserite

Laserite cannot be found in the world; it must be created. Laserite can be produced by pumping 1000mB of Liquid Glowstone (that's 4 pieces of glowstone, or 1 block) into a Diamond, using a Thermal Expansion Fluid Transposer. It can then be either refined or energised.

Refined Laserite

Laserite can be refined by smelting it. Refined Laserite can focus the energy produced from other forms of laserite, into forms such as a beam. The color of the beam produced can be changed by dying the Refined Laserite.

Energized Laserite

If 1000mB of Liquid Redstone (10 pieces of redstone) is pumped into a piece of Laserite (again, using the Thermal Expansion Fluid Transposer), it will become energised. Energised Laserite can be used to craft Laser Reactor Units.
