Let users create Custom Objects to use in Framing wizard
Issue #342
open
There is a whole bunch of Sharpless 2 targets in the Framing tab, (visible by typing “sh”), but for example sh2-114 (the wonderful Flying Dragon Nebula) is missing. It would be very awesome if custom targets could be added by the user. I know it dumps custom coordinates in the cache and you can work from there, but that pool quickly gets confounded with (1)'s etc, and it’s just not very well thought out.
The present list is just too small. The fantastic Spaghetti Nebula, Simeis 147, for example, is also missing.

Agree’d I also could not find the SH2-129 (I think it was) I was looking for. RAther than manual add - it would be nice if the data was in there.
HOWEVER slightly different request is “when viewing a image and cilcking SOLVE IT” (top bar) on the imaging page.
It solves but (seems to do nothing with the data?)
It would be cool if there was a “SEND TO” button or it just did… send the solve to the FRAMING area with the (off line) atlas view of the solve.
Since once solved there is no visual information. (I’ve love to see an overlay on the solved image of data from the atlas) but if not then I’d like to be able to click framing and see the area I’m pointing at from the solve.
