Contrast corruption
For some reason, sometimes, I end up with a muted-color matrix, similar to TV2's default using a contrast value of 3. Resetting the preferences corrects this. Here is a comparison of TV2's (above) and TV3's (below) overview panel, both before resetting the preferences and after. Note, I tried to adjust the colors in TV2 to match, but it's not exact:
Changing TV2's contrast value to 1 makes the colors similar to our default.
Regardless, sometimes our preferences seem to get corrupted and we end up with something like TV2's default contrast setting of 3.

repo owner Adding a contrast slider is not hard. The functionality is still in the code. Just the GUI parts are missing. But we discussed to not do this, correct? So what should we do? Clean up the contrast stuff from the code? Or implement a slider?
-
reporter Right, we decided not to implement a contrast slider, and until this issue can be reliably reproduced, I don't know that we can effectively fix it. What we need to do is try and figure out how to, or if we can, reproduce it.

This issue may have been resolved, though not explicitly. Putting it on hold in case it recurs.
