Safari: Uncaught ErrorException: session_start()

1. When using safari, I get the error below. When using incognito mode, the main page loads fine, but when I click any link (e.g. an event's link), I get the error. Once I get the error the first time, all webpages(including the main page) lead to the error. I'm not logged in when this happens. The error also occurs in non-incognito mode. I did not encounter the issue in Chrome, and I'm using Safari 14.0
