\ALG@name undefined. \select@language{american}
Issue #146
resolved
I'm using alrorithm2e
to add pseudo-code to my document but it makes the captions Algorithmus
for some reason. It's in German when I've set the language to 'american'. I've also tried defining it in the babel macros for amarican but it doesn't fix it.
Does any of you know a way to fix the caption? Even a hack for now would be good.

This is an interesting problem and the solution took some testing to find.
Currently,
ngerman
andamerican
are loaded in the options ofdocumentclass
. This seems to cause the problems withalgorithm2e
.Quick fix for you: Remove
ngerman
fromdocumentclass
inClassicThesis.tex
.Longer fix for our next release:
documentclass
\PassOptionsToPackage{ngerman,american}{babel}
inclassicthesis-config.tex
