Update 9th June 2017 v6.0.1

  • Massive update to material nodes. This now allows copy/paste of one object to another .blend file including it's material.
  • If no corona material tree exists but a cycles one does then the cycles node tree is converted as best as possible to a corona tree. As a default a corona output node, corona material node and every texture is converted. Some simple cycles node layouts are also converted and applied to the corona material.
  • Hue/Saturation node
  • RGB Curve node
  • $filename in the corona export path will be replaced by the <filename>.blend filename. Allows defaults in your startup file like //$filename to have your export path relative to the saved .blend file.

  • New hair exporter for binary mesh! Improved speed of export as you can see with the graph showing export times for amount of hairs. For my system using 10,000 hairs it now only takes 15 seconds instead of 70 that is a speedup of 80%. I couldn't export 100,000 hairs originally, with the first version of streaming it still took 4477 seconds with the latest version it now takes 155 seconds which is a 97% improvement!

  • New "Load Corona Config", lets you save the current settings from Corona UI and load them up for each render. Any setting in the .conf file will override the same setting coming from Blender.

  • Two extra files are output for each instance. One for the materials being used and one for the material. These are used with the External Corona Proxy objects. I might need to add an option to turn this on and off. See Issue #78 for more details.

  • Issue #67 show textures in blender, very basic implementation but you should be able to see the effect of uv maps and textures now. (Won't show uv map node effects though)
